Special Terms or Conditions of Sale
Pricing:
1. Our pricing depends on the color and size of the puppy.
Fine
Tiny Toys, Pocket Poodles and specialty colors will sell for more.
2. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit
is required to hold a puppy and the balance is due prior to shipping. (Puppies are sold in the order of the deposits received).
Registration:
1. Any puppy with a projected
weight of 4 pounds or less will be sold with a limited registration.
(This means they
cannot be used for breeding to produce a registered litter.)
2. This is done to protect the
breed and the health of the dog.
3. All of my breeding dogs are registered
with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the United Kennel Club (UKC).
Each puppy is sold with UKC registration, and AKC in the event it is needed for show or breeding purposes.
Health Guarantee:
As a responsible breeder, over a number of years I have worked diligently to eliminate known defects
from my bloodlines. On extremely rare occasions, any top breeder can have a puppy that presents a medical
problem; because of this I have formulated my guarantee process, which is as follows:
1. I guarantee all puppies for one (1) year (from date of birth) to be free of any congenital defect. This includes,
but is not limited to; Severe Patella Luxation, Leg Perthes, Hip Dysplasia, Cataracts, Epilepsy/Seizures, Tracheal
Collapse, or heart or liver ailments.
2. I further warrant all puppies from one (1) to five (5) years of age (from date of birth) to be free from any inherited
life threatening medical illness.
3. Should action under my warranty be necessary, I reserve the right to resolve any problem by the following means
and with the stipulations listed below:
a. Replace the dog based on the findings of MY veterinarian following a consultation with the client veterinarian.
b. Provide surgical intervention to resolve the medical defect under the following conditions:
(1). Any needed surgery will only be performed following consultation with MY Veterinarian who
will determine whether he or an associate would normally perform the procedure, or for that matter,
if the procedure is even indicated.
(2). Should surgery be required and agreed to by the various consulting veterinarians, I will pay half
of all medical costs up to the original purchase price of the dog. (For example, if the
dog was purchased for $1500 and a surgery was $1200, I would pay $600. If the
surgery were to be $4000 I would pay a maximum of $1500.)
(3) Under no conditions will any liability be assumed for any surgery or medical procedures
performed prior to consultation with West Coast Poodles.
Payment Methods:
1. Payment for the puppies and
the shipping costs MUST be paid in full prior to shipping.
2. Payment can be made by Cashiers
Check or Money Order. Personal checks are accepted but
(we insist on a 10-14
day clearing period.)
1. Puppies are shipped from San
Diego International or John Wayne Airport in
(Orange County).
2. Puppies are shipped Counter-to-Counter.
This method will guarantee safe shipment at any time of the year regardless
of the temperature conditions dictating when and if we can ship the puppies.
3.Shipping costs are 250.00.
Also Included: Prior to shipping,
and included in shipping costs, we provide:
1. Health Certificate and checkup
by a licensed Veterinarian
2. A 5 generation pedigree is available for your puppy.
3. Flight Insurance
4. A shipping carrier which is
yours to keep. (Two puppies can travel together for the same price, in the same carrier).
